Meals on Wheels
Helping to feed our seniors who are unable to provide nutritious meals is an obligation of all of us, but finding individuals who are willing and able to deliver meals is challenging for many programs. Walnut Grove UMC has a number of volunteers who work in this capacity, assisting Orange Congregations in Mission (OCIM) who provides the meals. And while delivering those meals, the volunteers are able to provide human contact for those who might not otherwise see anyone for days or weeks at a time.
